The Emailconverter was basically written to transfer your Windows Mailboxes
to your new Apple computer.
The tool can export Outlook XP-2003-2010, Outlook Express 5 or 6 and Eml files,
and can import them to Mbox format.
The Apple Mail application is able to import the Mbox format,
what makes it possible, to have all your old mails on your new Macintosh.
The Outlook 2003 Exporter storing the Folder-Structure from Outlook to !
The application using Dynamic Link Libraries for Export and Import.
The base version coming with DBX and Eml Exporter and Mbox importer.
You can additionally buy the Outlook XP-2003-2010 exporter library.
The Pro version including the Outlook XP-2003-2010 Exporter to.
The using of the application is straightforward.
You have to select the exporter and the source file on the left side
and the importer and the target file on the right side, this enables the Start button.
Outlook Express usually saves the DBX files in the following folder:
c:\Dokuments and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\
{your-hex-ident-string}\Microsoft\Outlook Express
Outlook usually saves the PST files in the following folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\user_id\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
The final thing to do is to push the Start button and check the action log !
To see the action log please push the Log button !
To switch back to the status screen please push the Status button !
The preferences dialog allows to select a directory for additional libraries,
and to enable and disable the status screen animation.
